Abstract
Objective: Reflect on how serious the psychological disorders can be, installed after difficult moments experienced by patients who managed to survive the aggravations caused by the new coronavirus, and concomitantly did not get the understanding of professionals and family members involved in the context. Bibliographic review: It is observed before the writing that the discussed theme highlights the importance and relevance of associating two well-described areas in the health area, but specifically in the scope of nursing, intensive care and mental health, which describes traumas experienced by patients and sometimes permanent psychic disorders. Final considerations: We consider the relevance of factors that caused post-Covid-19 patients to end up returning to hospital care for not being able to be understood in a global manner, because it was observed that over time, patients who underwent therapy in ICU beds, and even recovered have in their memories scenes and memories that have become traumatic, and disorders that in many situations irreparable, requiring some way a psychiatric monitoring by developing psychic disorders due to so much suffering with distressing experiences.
