Abstract
Objective: To identify the main difficulties of ethical practice in dispensing medicines in community pharmacy, to evaluate the importance of this principle in this process and to highlight the benefits of this philosophy in the life of the pharmacist, as well as for the pharmaceutical establishment. Methods: The study is an integrative review, developed through the prospection of scientific articles that were collected in Pubmed and Scielo databases, and Google Scholar platform, published from 2010 to 2022 written in Portuguese, Spanish and English. Results: The ethical philosophy being one of the premises for the execution of pharmaceutical services such as dispensing, finds difficulties in several aspects, however the studies show how relevant this philosophy is for the execution of the process. Final considerations: Although delimited, the ethical principle becomes an important guide for the pharmaceutical professionals, since it guides them as to their actions, in the face of conflicts that arise in the practice of dispensing and, as well as the services of professional performance, it needs to be worked to develop.
