Abstract

Objective: To analyze the gastric repercussions in celiac people who eat gluten, understand the mechanism of gluten in celiac individuals, identify the development of allergic processes in celiac people who use gluten in their diet and cite the medications that may contain gluten and the impact on the life of celiac. Bibliographic review: It is notorious how the disease interferes in the lives of celiac patients, as it is the most common chronic intestinal disease, with gluten present in most meals. In addition to the more common symptoms, such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, and vomiting, medications with gliadin excipients can interfere with a gluten- restricted diet. Final considerations: Gluten is a villain for people with celiac disease, the most common are the gastric repercussions related to gastrointestinal changes that gluten causes in the lives of these individuals, so a strict diet is of paramount importance.
