Through the descriptors “Mental health”, “COVID-19”, “Pandemic”, Health Professional”, Prevalence”. The guiding question was: What were the main impacts and prevalence rates of mental illness on health professionals during the pandemic in Brazil? Results: 124 articles were found and 5 were selected that met the selected criteria. After the reading stages, it was noticed that within the context of the pandemic, there was an intensification of work in hospitals, increased concern and important changes in work processes that imply a greater vulnerability of these professionals with repercussions on mental health. With high rates of impairment and increased levels of depression, anxiety and stress symptoms. Final considerations: It is necessary to evaluate aspects related to the mental health of these professionals, as well as better working conditions in order to reduce negative impacts and consider the consequences that the pandemic has brought to society, especially to health professionals.
