Abstract
O presente trabalho visa tratar sobre a obrigatoriedade da inserção do direito constitucional como disciplina obrigatória na educação básica brasileira, de maneira que trabalhar a cidadania dentro da dimensão escolar pode contribuir para que o cidadão participe politicamente do funcionamento do Estado propiciando uma construção coletiva de uma sociedade estatal.
