Abstract
Hospitais de Custódia ou Manicómios Judiciários, como popularmente conhecidos, é a medida de segurança aplicadas aos imputáveis por doença mental. Tem como principal fim a reintegração social por meio do tratamento do paciente. Ocorre que, se estes não recebem o devido tratamento torna-se irrecuperáveis e a desinternação, que está condicionada em sua cura, acaba tornando-se perpétua.
