Abstract
O leiomioma uterino é patologia benigna comum, incidindo em até 10% das gestações, necessitando de miomectomia durante gestação em 2% dos casos. Atualmente, há poucos estudos científicos que analisam o procedimento da miomectomia em associação com a mortalidade. Dessa forma, o atual relato de caso avalia a importância desse ato cirúrgico durante a gestação.
