Abstract
Objective: To prove the effectiveness of Complementary Integrative Practices (CIP) as a compilation of therapies directed to diagnoses in the early stages of the pathology, in order to provide autonomy and better quality of life for individuals who use them, with a special focus on the Unified Health System (SUS) because it is responsible for offering them. Methods: This study is a qualitative narrative literature review on CIP in Children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the SUS. Results: Studies that prove the effectiveness of CIP made available by SUS, in helping with conventional treatment of autism disorder, with a decrease in symptoms and progress in the development of autistic children, especially in the mental aspect. Final considerations: The relationship established between CIP and ASD in the SUS expresses the possibility of implementing integrative therapies when caring for the health of individuals, making them fit, with greater autonomy, improving their development and living together in society.
