Objective: To report the experience of participating in a remote seminar on Integral Health of the LGBTQIA+ Population. Experience report: This came from the experience of an event promoted by the Department of Nursing at a State University of Rio Grande do Norte, with the support of a research group from the respective institution. The remote seminar was held through the google meet platform, from June 17 to 19, 2020. The main objective of the event was to promote knowledge about the rights, difficulties and achievements of LGBTQIA+ individuals. During the three days of the event, it was possible to discuss the comprehensive health policy of the LGBTQ+ population and challenges for care within the scope of the SUS, territorial dynamics for the health and visibility of the LGBTQ+ population and the (in)visibility of transgender people, narratives in western Potiguar. Final considerations: Holding and participating in events can contribute to building the knowledge of students and health professionals, as well as encouraging reflection on care practices with regard to the health of the LGBTQIA+ population.
