The obstacles faced by the brazilian public administration in establishing Health Care Networks

Abstract

Objective: To highlight the analysis of the application of Health Care Networks within the Unified Health System (SUS), considering obstacles, dynamics of influence and the ability to improve the excellence of health services. Literature review: Healthcare Networks represent an innovative and strategic approach to the organization of healthcare services. The organization of health systems into networks promotes significant improvements in the quality of care, while at the same time helping to reduce the costs of local administration systems. However, integration between the different levels of care remains a challenge, especially in terms of the difficulty in adapting specialized care to local needs and promoting care focused on primary care. From this point of view, the Health Regulatory Complex is essential for coordinating access to efficient health services. Final considerations: This narrative review highlights the importance of adapting services in the process of implementing Health Care Networks. It also shows that health regions are fundamental to the fair distribution of resources and that the regulatory process must be allied to the demands of the population.
