Abstract
This article aims to discuss the most important cardiovascular consequences involved in child obesity through information released in scientific database, such as PubMed. For this reason, 16 articles were selected, which were read to constitute this research. The objective of this study is to comprehend the metabolic outcomes due to child obesity and identify, consequently, its risk factors to the development of cardiovascular diseases in adult life. Therefore, it can be concluded that obesity is a public health problem due to the high number of people in this condition and that the metabolic stress promotes elevation of the cardiovascular risk.
