Abstract
Objective: To analyze and describe the profile of reports of child sexual violence in the State of Pará, from 2019 to 2021, according to data from the Health Information System of the Department of Informatics of the Unified Health System (DATASUS). Methods: This is a descriptive, cross-sectional, retrospective study, with a quantitative approach of notified cases of domestic, sexual and/or other violence in children. The chosen variables corresponded to those available in DATASUS, and which corresponded to the research objectives, namely: types of violence, sex, race, age group, type of violence and author of the aggression. The collected data were analyzed using statistical analysis, with simple and relative frequency. Results: It was possible to identify, despite the decrease over the years, a significant occurrence of 4820 reports of child sexual violence in the state of Pará between 2019 and 2021, presenting a profile centered on girls, between 10 and 14 years old, self-declared brown, victims of violence carried out by friends and/or acquaintances in the residential environment, predominantly in the Metropolitan Region I. Conclusion: Despite the decrease over the years, there was a significant occurrence of 4820 reported cases of child sexual abuse in the state of Pará between 2019 and 2021.
