Abstract
Objective: To describe the process of developing and validating an evidence-based educational-care web platform to support the management of neonatal therapeutic hypothermia. Methods: Methodological study, whose platform development was structured based on a review of the scientific literature, a previously developed care protocol from a reference neonatal unit, organization of the technical and scientific content, definition of the informational architecture, construction of the prototype in a web environment, and validation of content and appearance by specialists. Results: A responsive educational-care website was developed, structured in modules on newborn eligibility, bed preparation, monitoring, management of complications, rewarming, care records, multidisciplinary care, and family support. All evaluated items obtained I-CVI of 1.00, an S-CVI/Ave of 1.00, and 100% agreement, with no need for a new Delphi round. Conclusion: The platform demonstrated satisfactory content and appearance validity, with the potential to support permanent education, standardize procedures, and strengthen safety in neonatal care.
