Abstract

The objective of this study was to identify the national scientific production on suspension rates in Brazil from 2008 to 2018. Thus, an integrative review was proposed in the databases Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), Database of Nursing (BDENF), Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS) between 2008 and 2018. The search resulted in the identification of 648 studies, BDENF), 165 Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS). Seven studies were selected that met the inclusion criteria, being 1 qualitative, 1 systematic review of a randomized clinical trial and 5 quantitative ones. It is important to emphasize the nursing behavior aimed at the communication between the health team and the health team with the patients and their families.
