Abstract
This article sought to collect data on the prevalence of coinfection between Viral Hepatitis and HIV in Brazil, specifying the Northern region. A description of the Portuguese, English and Spanish descriptors in the DECS (Health Descriptors) and the MESH (Medical Subject Headings) was carried out to collect articles in the SciELO, PubMED and LILACS databases of the temporal cut from 2014 to 2018, as well as the collection of information from SINAN. A total of 457 articles were found and after exclusion by criteria, there were 13 articles and 1 Epidemiological Bulletin. No relevant data were found for Hepatitis A, Hepatitis Delta and Hepatitis E. In the northern region of Brazil, 2.0% of Hepatitis B prevalence and 8.9% of Hepatitis C were found. To recognize the epidemiology of hepatitis coinfection HIV infections in the Brazilian northern region is important for a context of accelerated diagnosis.
