Abstract
The lack of volume or bone height can be considered as barriers or contraindications for dental implant placement. Techniques to correct these flaws have emerged to these techniques is given the name of guided bone regeneration. The objective of this work is to do a literature review on the Guided bone regeneration in order to relate the different methods and applications of bone gain. The analysis of articles Published and indexed in PubMed database was performed and showed that the combined techniques of grafting and stabilization with membranes was the most satisfying.
