Abstract

Objective: To verify within the national literature the study of these processes if it has really contributed to the understanding and treatment of diseases arising from cells. Bibliographic review: Cell biology represents a complex of fundamental knowledge to understand living beings through their functions and complexity in the medicinal field. It is worth mentioning some highlights that cell biology is a precursor to the specialization of certain tissues, use for organ transplants, an attempt to cure numerous diseases that have not yet found a cure. Furthermore, cell biology is important for the teaching-learning process of students and professionals and can substantially contribute to the future of new research. Therefore, it is essential to encourage the teaching of this area to be an integral part of training and professional development. Final considerations: It is evident that the importance of learning is not momentary, but cumulative and can generate memorable consequences in the medicinal branch on a global scale.
