Abstract

Objective: To investigate the contributions that psychoanalytic theory brings to understand, in a deeper and broader way, the subject inserted in organizational dynamics. Bibliographic review: Through the psychoanalytic approach, with emphasis on Freudian works, this research outlined the understanding of psychic suffering to be used in studies of organizational relationships. And, from the Psychodynamics of Work, the understanding of man in his symbolic bonds in the work environment was expanded, bringing an expanded view of the organizational dynamics, not simplifying this to a material instance only, but encompassing all its symbology with which the subject relates. Therefore, the concepts developed by Sigmund Freud contribute to a proposal to look at organizational phenomena through listening, transferring and understanding the complex subjects that make up this relationship. Final considerations: Re-elaborating experiences and de-pathologizing suffering with workers is the principle to provide individuals with awareness of their subjectivities and movement to transform this suffering. In this way, the listening space becomes fundamental as an efficient intervention in the organizational dynamics.
