Abstract

Objective: To provide a current view of the impacts and applications of AI in the medical field. Literature review: The artificial intelligence  has revolutionized the healthcare sector with its efficiency and personalization. Using techniques like Machine Learning and Deep Learning, AI can perform complex tasks such as medical image analysis and automated screening. This technology promises to improve patient care, expedite diagnoses, and simplify administrative processes. Studies highlight its role in disease prediction and treatment customization, offering a more precise and preventive approach. Final considerations: Despite the benefits, the integration of AI into medicine faces ethical and legislative challenges. Regulation is essential to protect data privacy and establish clear responsibilities. Ensuring equitable access to technology and providing adequate training to healthcare professionals is crucial. AI has the potential to positively transform the healthcare sector, providing more effective and personalized care to patients, but a careful balance between innovation and ethics is necessary to maximize its benefits.
