Abstract

It is intended to show an example of inclusive and educative art action, directed to young autistic people, inserted in the context of scientific diffusion that has been practiced in the Amazon region. As justification for the development of this study, it is understood that scientific dissemination can be incorporated into the procedure of improving the quality of education in different fields of knowledge. The choice of the work “The Little Prince” was due to its playful character and to be widely recommended to young people. The research methodology employed is the experience report. It is concluded that the scientific dissemination promotes the exchange of knowledge between researchers and hard-to-reach communities, and that visual arts workshops bring benefits in the autistic teaching-learning process, as well as carriers of other learning disorders, being able to overcome barriers caused by social isolation, difficulty in behavioral adaptability and differentiated learning, usually presented by the target audience.
