Abstract
Objective: To understand in a contextualized way the concept of pedagogical robotics through a reflection on some of the main concepts related to the field of cybernetics. Bibliographic review: Cybernetics is the general theory that studies the systems that unrestrictedly control machines. However, for lack of a critical perspective of reality, such studies have trodden slippery and ideological paths. These studies, mostly, have influenced the distortion of concepts related to pedagogical robotics, because they imply that the concept around pedagogical robotics is linked only to functional issues and this, in a sneaky way, has contributed to a distortion of the social context, in order to try to nullify the essence of men and the whole result of their historicity, comparing them and placing them below the technological machines. Therefore, from some discussions, it is possible to attest that pedagogical robotics is not limited to an artifact, because it represents a set of processes and procedures that uses pedagogical robotic artifacts. Final considerations: This conceptual perspective on pedagogical robotics is of great relevance, as it rescues the resignification of roles and social relations between human beings and technological artifacts inside and outside the educational environment.
