Abstract
Objective: Promote social sustainability through educational robotics with elementary school students in the development of robotic prototypes and actions that improve the world. Experience report: The classes were based on socio-interactionist methodology and the use of active methodologies where a survey was carried out on problems in the neighborhoods surrounding the school. Through the use of technological education tools, such as chromebook, interactive screen, robotics and electronics kits, tablets and recyclable materials, prototypes were produced to solve the following problems: 1: Recycling trash on the streets; 2: Anti-theft systems; 3: Flood alarm; 4: Toys to play with; 5: Cable car for mobility on the hills. Final considerations: The project allowed students to visualize known structures and phenomena through concrete materials, making use of technological, scientific language and experiencing this digital culture where these were relevant aspects for the development of actions and the creation of prototypes proposed to solve problems in neighborhoods in the surrounding the school.
