Abstract
The American film O Clube do Imperador (2002) portrays the ethical dilemmas faced by a teacher and a student in the middle of a school for the children of the American elite. From an episode where professor William Hundert deviated from his moral rectitude to help the arrogant student Sedgewick Bell, son of an unscrupulous politician, who later comes to cheat in the contest entitled “Julio Cesar”, the problem of the be “ethical”, as well as behavioral issues and the family and school relationship present in the formation of the young person's character. Such ethical ideas, apparently antagonistic, can be applied in harmony, just imagine a being whose conduct is guided by the Kantian thinking of being acting right and in this certainty seeking happiness, yours and your neighbor's, with quality. It is not being said that such action is easy, but such conduct is fully possible.
