Abstract

Objective: To identify the most common diagnoses in patients undergoing hemodialysis in intensive care. Methods: Integrative literature review study, using the Virtual Health Library database (BVS), SciELO and Acervo+ Index Base. Initially, there was a preliminary reading of 30 researched articles; from then on, ten articles were chosen as the basis for structuring this study. The methodological approach of qualitative research, called exploratory research, aims to develop a research instrument suited to the situation. Results: 10 existing cases were observed in random articles, Nursing Diagnoses (ND) were identified, it appears that in 100% of the 10 cases studied, they are: risk of electrolyte imbalance, impaired urinary elimination, impaired physical mobility, integrity of impaired skin, risk of ineffective renal perfusion. Final considerations: The study provided an observation regarding the procedures applied to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment in the ICU, who elaborated the diagnoses reached in this study, which will help the nurse involved in the care of chronic renal patients, contributing to bring the nurse closer to the patient and promoting care based on clinical evidence.
