Abstract
Objective: To report the experience of students from the 9th period of nursing in carrying out nursing consultations with students of elementary school I in a teaching center in the DF. Experience report: The consultations were carried out from March 3 to 16, 2022, using a pre-prepared script to obtain objective and subjective answers, to assess: oral hygiene habits, nutritional habits, visual acuity, Body Mass (BMI), socio-emotional assessment, family dynamics and corrective methods, and signs of risk such as: contact with bullying, violence, psychoactive substances, self-mutilation and self-extermination attempts. After analyzing the data, the main problems identified were: irregular tooth brushing, dental caries, overweight and obesity, impaired visual acuity, anxiety, contact with bullying and physical violence. Final considerations: During the consultations, it was evident that many students are in a vulnerable situation and have the school unit as a point of support, which makes the practice of health education fundamental for the elaboration of a safe space for adolescents to feel confidence to expose the problems they are experiencing both in intra-family and extra-family environments, as well as situations of violence and to promote actions and solutions aimed at well-being.
