Abstract
Objective: To discuss the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on the current daily lives of healthcare professionals. Methods: This was an integrative literature review. The guiding question was: What have been the main effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the professional and personal lives of healthcare workers, according to recent scientific literature? The search for articles was conducted between February and March 2025 in databases recognized in the health field, including the Virtual Health Library (VHL), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), PubMed, and Google Scholar. Results: After applying eligibility criteria, 10 scientific articles published between 2022 and 2024 were selected to compose the final sample of this integrative review. These studies were analyzed based on their objectives, methodologies, and main findings, providing a comprehensive understanding of the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the daily lives of healthcare professionals. Final considerations: The COVID-19 pandemic brought profound changes to the routines and working conditions of healthcare professionals, revealing pre-existing structural weaknesses and intensifying physical, emotional, and organizational challenges.
