Abstract

Abstract: Objective: To describe the importance of nursing care in orienting parents and / or relatives of children with APL, in view of the difficulties experienced and the possibilities in care. Method: This is a descriptive study of bibliographic review, conducted through database of articles in the scientific literature. Conclusion: The change in eating habits with comprehensive and multidisciplinary care reveals an improvement in the clinical picture of children with APLV. Children with APLV may have a normal routine as long as the environment provides proper care. The study showed the importance of the nurse's role in caring for the child with APLV. The social inclusion of children, together with their well-being, is a reflection of the knowledge of a qualified multidisciplinary care team.
