Abstract
Objective: To identify the types of CT most frequently addressed in the literature on PC of cancer patients. Methods: For the development of this review, the following steps were taken: choice of articles; evaluation of the included studies; interpretations of the results, and presentation of the integrative review. An integrative literature review was carried out with articles published between the years 2016 and 2020. The study selected 11 articles, and the results found indicate that the publication on the subject has increased in recent years, with many positive clinical results, but which are still Further clinical studies are needed, including control groups. Results: This study did not find any therapy that addressed the topic of complementary therapies, through the databases used, which were chosen precisely because they are the most comprehensive. This highlights the need for the development of evidence-based clinical research.
