Envelhecimento ativo no contexto do trabalho: uma revisão de escopo

Resumo

Objetivo: Mapear as evidências disponíveis sobre o envelhecimento ativo no contexto do trabalho. Métodos: Trata-se de uma revisão de escopo sendo guiada pelas recomendações do Instituto Joanna Briggs e segundo o arcabouço metodológico proposto por Arksey e O’Malley. Resultados: Foram incluídos 19 artigos que mostraram que o envelhecimento ativo no contexto do trabalho perpassa por várias variáveis como: a estrutura do trabalho como a necessidade de intervenções e abordagens no local de trabalho; intuito de melhorar as condições para serem mais seguras; trabalhar a promoção da saúde ao longo da vida e do emprego; da importância das relações sociais e do aprendizado ao longo da vida; e ter empregos mais seguros. Considerações finais: Dentre os principais achados, ter uma mão de obra qualificada e mais experiente, além das inúmeras contribuições para as relações sociais frente à diversidade etária no ambiente ocupacional, temos um ganho significativo para a saúde de trabalhadores mais velhos, independente de qual área, setor ou local que se encontra.
