Comparação entre tratamentos farmacológicos e não farmacológicos na dor crônica de jogadores de futebol

Resumo

Objetivo: Avaliar a eficácia de tratamentos farmacológicos e não farmacológicos na gestão da dor crônica em jogadores de futebol e seus efeitos na qualidade de vida. Métodos: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura realizada em seis etapas bem definidas, com busca sistemática nas bases PubMed, BVS, Cochrane Library e Google Acadêmico. Após o uso dos descritores “Chronic Pain”, “Soccer Players”, “Pain Management” e “Quality of Life”, foram identificados 473 artigos publicados entre 2015 e 2025, dos quais 10 compuseram a amostra final com o percurso da seleção baseada nos critérios PRISMA. Resultados: Abordagens não farmacológicas, como reabilitação funcional e eletroterapia, reduziram significativamente a dor e melhoraram o desempenho físico. Um estudo relatou melhora de até 30% em testes funcionais e redução expressiva na escala VAS após seis semanas de tratamento. Tratamentos apenas farmacológicos mostraram alívio imediato, mas com riscos e eficácia limitada. Estratégias integradas resultaram em melhor recuperação e menor tempo de retorno ao esporte (média de 49 dias). Considerações finais: Considera-se que intervenções integradas são mais eficazes na gestão da dor crônica em jogadores de futebol, promovendo alívio duradouro, recuperação funcional e retorno seguro ao esporte.
