Main Article Content
Abstract
Objective: To analyze the pattern of the main risk factors that trigger DVT, relating to the post-infection of Covid-19. Evaluating, thus, the existence of the prevalence of factors that directly influence such pathology. Methods: The methodological approach of this work proposes an integrative review of the literature in the National Library of Medicine, Virtual Health Library and Directory of Open Access Journals databases. The descriptors used were “Risk Factors”, “Diagnosis”, “Venous Thrombosis” and “Covid-19”. Inclusion criteria were newspaper article articles, randomized controlled trial, clinical study and clinical trial, clinical trials, case-control studies, cohort study, open access, published in English, Portuguese, Spanish and between 2020 and 2022. Results: Even the risk factors for the development of DVT after Covid-19 infection vary, they occur mainly in patients with grade III obesity, SAH, DM2, heart disease, cancer, previous history of DVT and other comorbidities. Final considerations: Thus, patients with such an infection and vascular and cardiac comorbidities, such as SAH, are developing a greater ease of contracting DVT, due to the increase in blood viscosity generated by the storm of prostaglandins that are released into the blood as a result of the infection.
