A influência da pandemia pela Covid-19 na obesidade infantil: uma revisão de literatura

Resumo
Objetivo: Analisar os impactos da pandemia pela Covid-19 na obesidade infantil, relacionando com a idade e gênero. Caracterizando melhor quais são elas na tentativa de uma melhor intervenção. Métodos: A abordagem metodológica deste trabalho se propõe a um compilado de pesquisa bibliográfica de abordagem qualitativa e caráter descritivo por meio de uma revisão integrativa da literatura nas bases de dados National Library of Medicine, Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde e Directory of Open Access Journals. Os descritores utilizados foram “OBESITY”, “CHILD” e “COVID 19”. Os critérios de inclusão foram artigos de journal article, clinical trial, ensaios clínicos, randomizados ou não randomizados, estudos de caso-controle, estudo de coorte, livre acesso, publicados em inglês, português, espanhol, no intervalo de 2020 a 2022. Resultados: Foram avaliados os resultados dos trabalhos selecionados e construído um quadro comparativo, na qual é composta pelo número de indivíduos abordados nos estudos, ano de publicação, tempo gasto em atividades esportivas, tempo de tela, dieta, sexo mais susceptível a obesidade e faixa etária. Considerações finais: Dessa forma, a pandemia pela Covid-19 reforçou o ambiente obesogênico no qual as crianças foram as mais afetadas, gerando consequências catastróficas na vida adulta, aumenta sua morbidade e ainda gera altos custos em saúde.
