Associação de eventos cardiovasculares e pacientes diagnosticados com COVID-19

Resumo

Objetivo: investigar a literatura acerca da associação entre o desenvolvimento de eventos cardiovasculares e a COVID-19 em pacientes adultos. Métodos: Revisão integrativa da literatura com busca na base de dados Pubmed de artigos publicados nos últimos 3 anos com a utilização dos descritores “COVID-19” e “cardiovascular change. Resultados: O total de 13 artigos científicos foram considerados aptos para a realização dessa revisão integrativa. As informações extraídas foram dispostas de acordo com a autoria e o ano de publicação, metodologia empregada no estudo analisado, objetivo principal do estudo e característica do estudo ou característica da população estudada.  Considerações finais: Pacientes que evoluíra com a cura da infecção pelo SARS-CoV-2 possuem risco, consideravelmente elevado para o desenvolvimento de arritmias cardíacas, insuficiência cardíaca e ainda, infarto agudo do miocárdio. A pandemia promoveu uma diminuição importante das hospitalizações por todas as causas cardiovasculares. A tromboembolia é considerada uma das principais causas de hospitalização, assim como, a miocardite.
