A importância do diagnóstico precoce de TDAH para o desenvolvimento infantil

Resumo

Objetivo: Avaliar os fatores diagnósticos do Transtorno do Déficit de Atenção e Hiperatividade no desenvolvimento infantil. Métodos: A abordagem metodológica deste trabalho se propõe a um compilado de pesquisa bibliográfica de abordagem qualitativa, retrospectiva e transversal executado por meio de uma revisão integrativa da literatura. As bases de dados utilizadas foram o National Library of Medicine (PubMed) e a Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS). A busca foi realizada por meio dos descritores: “attention deficit hyperactivity “, “disorder”, “early diagnosis”, “children” e “development”. Ocorreu a utilização de filtros de pesquisa como artigos de livre acesso, artigos publicados em inglês e português. Foram incluídos artigos originais, ensaios clínicos randomizados e não randomizados, estudos de caso-controle e de coorte. Além disso, foi critério de inclusão o recorte temporal de publicação de 2018 a 2022. Resultados: Os 15 artigos selecionados avaliam os principais fatores e impactos do TDHA na infância. Os resultados dos trabalhos e as conclusões variam de acordo com idade, momento do diagnóstico e intervenções terapêuticas. De forma geral, constatou-se que a suspeita precoce e a terapêutica adequada podem beneficiar esse grupo. Considerações finais: Dessa forma, o diagnóstico precoce do TDHA é capaz de alterar o desenvolvimento. de crianças e adolescentes de forma positiva
