Diagnóstico precoce e intervenção na depressão infantil pós-trauma como estratégia de prevenção da depressão em adultos

Resumo

Objetivo: Investigar a relação entre a depressão infantil após traumas e seu impacto no desenvolvimento cognitivo e emocional, visando destacar a necessidade de intervenções eficazes para prevenir a depressão na vida adulta. Métodos: A revisão integrativa de literatura envolveu a análise de 37 estudos, encontrados nas plataformas PubMed e BVS do Ministério da Saúde. Resultados: A partir dos estudos, foi possível compreender a complexidade da depressão infantil, seus fatores de risco e tratamentos, enfatizando a importância da intervenção precoce e do apoio familiar e social. Os estudos também ampliaram a visão ao explorar fatores genéticos, traumas na infância, questões de gênero, qualidade de vida das crianças afetadas e influência de outros contextos. A discussão ressignificou os dados, enfocando a relevância de prevenir a depressão infantil como um investimento no bem-estar da sociedade. Considerações Finais: Destaca-se a importância contínua da pesquisa, educação sobre saúde mental e implementação eficaz de programas de prevenção e tratamento, a fim de evitar o impacto de traumas infantis na saúde mental na vida adulta.
