Impacto da osseodensificação na estabilidade primária e osseointegração de implantes dentários

Resumo
Objetivo: Avaliar o impacto da osseodensificação na estabilidade primária e na osseointegração de implantes dentários, buscando esclarecer como essa técnica influencia o desempenho dos implantes em curto e longo prazo. Revisão bibliográfica: Os estudos indicam que a osseodensificação aumenta significativamente a estabilidade primária devido à compactação do osso durante a perfuração, promovendo maior contato entre osso e implante. Além disso, a técnica parece acelerar a osseointegração, reduzindo o tempo de cicatrização. A utilização de brocas especiais permite a preservação da densidade óssea e melhora a distribuição de forças ao redor do implante. Contudo, alguns estudos relatam que os resultados podem variar dependendo da qualidade óssea inicial e da experiência do cirurgião. Considerações finais: A osseodensificação demonstra benefícios claros na melhoria da estabilidade primária e na osseointegração de implantes dentários, especialmente em ossos de baixa densidade. Limitações incluem a necessidade de mais estudos clínicos de longo prazo para validar esses resultados.
