Abstract
Objective: To analyze the characteristics of Adenomyosis and Uterine Myomatosis. Bibliographic Review: Abnormal uterine bleeding are common gynecological complaints in gynecology clinics, and may be caused by Uterine Adenomyosis or Uterine Myomatosis. These diseases can affect women of all ages, and are increasingly diagnosed in young women. Both pathologies are difficult to diagnose because their symptoms are very similar to other diseases, however, they can also be a differential diagnosis of each other. Symptoms such as hypermenorrhea, infertility, pain and anemia are common to be found in these disorders, affecting women's quality of life physically and emotionally. Final considerations: Uterine myomatosis and adenomyosis have numerous etiologies that have not yet been well disseminated, in addition, it is necessary to seek a quick, effective and conclusive diagnosis to perform the appropriate treatment to improve the lives of women who suffer from these diseases. The rapid identification of the disease and treatment has the benefit of avoiding traumas, medications and unnecessary surgical procedures that occur when there is no correct diagnosis.
