Abstract
Objective: To show a case of a patient who started to have a nodule in the left breast, with accelerated growth, after trauma to the breast due to her habit of intensely and repeatedly squeezing this breast. Case detail: Female patient, 37 years old, with intellectual disability, presented a lump in the left breast of mobile consistency, painless on palpation and with accelerated growth, after acquiring the habit of squeezing the breast intensely and regularly, traumatizing the issue. We opted to perform a sectorectomy, approaching the Superior and Infero Lateral Quadrants of the left breast. Material was sent for anatomopathological study, which showed Borderline Phyllodes Tumor. Months later, he opted to undergo a Simple Mastectomy. The patient performed well postoperatively. Final considerations: Surgical treatment is extremely important through excision of the entire piece with safety margins, in order to obtain the anatomopathological study and the correct diagnosis for better elucidation of the condition and evaluation of prognoses and other follow-ups.
