Resumen

Objective: To evaluate different treatment and monitoring routes, which allow improving the quality of life in patients diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Methods: This is an integrative bibliographic review research with a qualitative approach, with a time frame of five years, from 2019 to August 2024. The study design, a non-clinical research, was integrated by applying the PICO strategy. To prepare the results, the following were evaluated: Location, Database/Journal, Author(s) of the article/Year, objective, Level of Evidence. Results: Significant improvement in the performance and comfort of patients with Multiple Sclerosis, both by increasing the frequency of physical exercises and by adopting palliative care, in order to alleviate symptoms and allow a better quality of life for the patient and family. Final considerations: Recent studies highlight advances in the treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS), with a focus on physical training and palliative care. However, adherence to rehabilitation programs is challenging, with a lack of information about their benefits.
