Abstract

Objective: Analyze the strategies and interventions described in the scientific literature aimed at reintegrating workers with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other work-related mental health issues into the labor market. Methods: An integrative literature review was conducted, with searches performed in SciELO, PubMed, Scopus, and BVS, covering studies from 2010 to 2025. Articles, dissertations, and theses in Portuguese, English, or Spanish, available in full text, addressing the labor reintegration of workers with PTSD were included. Descriptors such as "PTSD," "labor reintegration," and "interventions" were used, combined with Boolean operators. The selection process involved five stages: identification, removal of duplicates, screening, eligibility, and inclusion, with data analysis structured in tables. Results: Out of 55 initial records, 9 articles were included after screening and analysis. Identified barriers included a lack of psychological support and workplace stigma. Highlighted interventions encompassed psychosocial support and workplace adaptations. Public policies and companies play a crucial role in facilitating labor reintegration. Final considerations: The study highlights the complexity of reintegration and the effectiveness of structured interventions, though limited by the lack of local guidelines. Further research is recommended for personalized approaches.
