Abstract
Objective: to analyze the incidence of cervical cancer in women vaccinated against HPV, in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the vaccine in preventing this disease Methods: quantitative study, of an exploratory and longitudinal nature, 100 women participated. Data collection was carried out through virtual questionnaires, in which participants provided information about their vaccination history and health status, allowing a detailed analysis of the impact of the vaccine on preventing cervical cancer. Results: it is concluded that awareness about the effectiveness of the HPV vaccine is crucial for women's health, as it plays an important role in preventing cervical cancer. However, current studies have not conclusively proven the relationship between vaccination and the reduction in cancer incidence, highlighting the need for more research to establish this correlation with greater precision. Conclusion: The HPV vaccine is essential to prevent cervical cancer, but more research is needed to establish a clear relationship between vaccination and reducing the risk of developing cancer, in order to ensure proof of its effectiveness
