About the Event
Dear readers,
It is with great pleasure that we present the Proceedings of the 5th Academic Medical Congress on Dermatology (CODERMA), organized by the Brazilian Society of Dermatology – Juiz de Fora District, in collaboration with UNIPAC, Suprema, and the Federal University of Juiz de Fora.
Now in its fifth edition, CODERMA reaffirms its commitment to promoting knowledge, medical education, and scientific output in the field of Dermatology. Conceived and organized with great dedication, the congress represents a collaboration among various institutions and the efforts of those who share an interest in this specialty and in scientific advancement.
The program for this edition covered diverse areas of Dermatology through lectures, workshops, networking opportunities, and academic paper presentations, creating a space for learning, professional updating, and the exchange of experiences. Beyond contributing to medical training, the event aims to foster student initiative and bring students closer to research and scientific production.
This publication compiles the abstracts submitted and approved for presentation at the 5th CODERMA, reflecting the dedication of the authors and supervisors involved in creating this edition. The works presented here represent not only a growing interest in Dermatology but also a commitment to science and the dissemination of knowledge.
Holding another edition of CODERMA was only possible thanks to the hard work of the organizing committees, partner institutions, professors, professionals, and students. We extend special thanks to the Brazilian Society of Dermatology – Juiz de Fora District for the support and organization that were fundamental to the event's success.
We express our gratitude to all authors, supervisors, speakers, collaborators, and participants for their trust and dedication. We hope these Proceedings serve as a valuable record of the scientific output of this edition and help encourage future research, new gatherings, and, above all, the continued strengthening of academic Dermatology.
We wish you all a pleasant read!
Sincerely, The Organizing Committee
