Abstract

Objective: To understand the impact of anxiety disorder on the nutritional health of individuals. Bibliographic review: The direct relationship of anxiety with binge eating is a topic that is much discussed and witnessed today, and can affect people of any age, especially those who suffer from pathological recurrent anxiety. Obsessively high-calorie food intake by anxious individuals can lead to the emergence of chronic metabolic diseases, such as obesity. This happens due to a hormonal and psychic imbalance, in which the individual, to try to escape unpleasant sensations, starts to ingest a large amount of food. Thus, due to the increase in cases of anxiety in contemporary society, it is necessary to be aware of life habits, especially in relation to daily diet and lifestyle. Considerations final: The discussion on this topic is extremely important to alert people about the association of anxiety and lack of food control, and the main risks that the set of these diseases can result in an individual's life, and the main behaviors that should be followed.
