Abstract
Objective: To verify the self-perception of university professors about their mental health during the pandemic of Covid-19. Methods: This is an exploratory quantitative research, carried out through questionnaires in Google Forms, in the period from May to July 2021. The data found were worked in Excel and analyzed in the statistical program Epi info. Results: The study included 85 university professors, most of them women (74.12%), despite the incidence of only 5.88% of Burnout and 17.6% of anxiety at a severe/moderate level, high rates of emotional exhaustion (65.88%) and low rates of personal accomplishment (50%) were observed. Conclusion: It was evidenced that despite the instruments used focusing on the search for Burnout and Anxiety, no relevant results were found in these spheres, however, the prevalence of high rates of emotional exhaustion and personal unfulfillment was observed, corroborating the literature described and the hypothesis of an existing psychic suffering in face of the reality experienced.
