Abstract

Objective: To present the possibilities of developing and making rehabilitation resources for injuries related to the hand and upper limb using this technology. As well as establishing a cost-benefit ratio of its use. Methods: It is characterized as quantitative-qualitative, exploratory, descriptive and cross-sectional, which primarily used modeling and three-dimensional printing techniques for its design and the depreciation formula for measuring production values. Results: It is characterized as quantitative-qualitative, exploratory, descriptive and cross-sectional, which primarily used modeling and three-dimensional printing techniques for its design. From the use of 3D modeling and printing, it was possible to conceive the manufacture of 3 devices, namely: a pinch gripper, a palmar gripper and a pronosupinator. These presented a satisfactory printing time, while they could also have essential characteristics such as reduced weight, good cost-effectiveness and being easy to clean. Conclusion: With the data obtained, it can be stated that this technology has the potential for dispensing this type of device, at a reduced price and with rapid availability.
