Abstract

Objective: To know the systematized productions in the literature about the social determinants spatially related to mammographic screening. Methods: This is an integrative review carried out in the Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online (MEDLINE/PUBMED) and the Virtual Health Library (BVS). From the application of the eligibility criteria, six articles were selected, which corresponded to the final sample of this review. The analysis of the articles emerged from the construction of two categories of analysis: “Social Health Determinants related to mammographic screening” and “spatial analysis techniques”. Results: It was found that the social determinants related to age and education were directly related to access to mammographic screening tests. Regarding spatial analysis techniques, the use of free software for making maps predominated, with emphasis on the use of a new Google Trends tool that deepens the analysis with the support of Artificial Intelligence. In the spatial distribution, the low mammographic screening was evidenced in the North and Northeast regions, with analysis of the concentration of per capita income by region and its relationship with mammographic screening. Final considerations: The systematization of knowledge about the productions that reveal the social determinants related to access to mammography examination, in a spatial perspective.
