Abstract
Objective: To report a case of Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada Syndrome in a woman and the treatment of vitiligo. Case details: This is a case report, assessed and approved by the local Research Ethics Committee, approved under CAAE number 61783722.3.0000.5505. Female patient, 39 years old, brown, married, general assistant, born and living in São Paulo, complaining of an achromic spot on the vulva, underwent treatment with tracolimus with clinical improvement. The patient underwent treatment of the syndrome with azathioprine and in the region of the vulvar achromic stain with tacrolimus with total repigmentation. The Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada Syndrome known as uveomeningoencephalic syndrome is characterized by chronic bilateral panuveitis, neurological, auditory and cutaneous impairment. Final considerations: It is considered that the disease has a cellular autoimmune etiology – mediated that affects melanocytes. Considering the diversification of clinical manifestations, its diagnosis often becomes difficult or takes a long time. Faced with this reality, it is imperative to consider treatments that involve an immunosuppressive effect, so that the patient can achieve the treatment in its entirety.
