Abstract
Objective: To analyze the perception of Quality of Life at Work by professors and administrative technicians in education (TAE) at a federal educational institution in the central region of the state of Goiás, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: Descriptive cross-sectional study, nested within a dynamic cohort. Conducted in July 2021, with 668 servers, it used the Total Quality of Work Life instrument. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Results: The quality of life at work was satisfactory, with an average score of 59.84 in the self-assessment and 62.46 in the general classification. There was a trend: neutral/unsatisfactory in the Biological/Physiological sphere (54.59); very satisfactory in Psychological/Behavioral (70.71); neutral in the Economic/Political (59.47), Sociological/Relational (62.94) and Environmental/Organizational (65.27) spheres. There are small differences between individual perceptions compared to the participating group. Conclusion: The quality of life at work scores varied according to the professional category and spheres assessed. The highest scores are concentrated in the psychological/behavioral aspects, with small differences between professors and TAE. The rigorous method for collecting/analyzing data and the sample size were strengths of the study. Performing in a single location reduces the possibility of generalizing the results to other areas.
