Abstract
Objective: To analyze in the scientific literature the educational technologies used in prenatal care to promote the health of pregnant women with hypertensive syndromes. Methods: Integrative review with searches performed on the Virtual Health Library portal, PubMed and PubMed Central. Results: Of the 297 studies found, eight made up the research corpus after applying the selection criteria. The studies portray the use of educational strategies through technologies such as an application, printed instrument, artistic exhibition and group education for awareness and care on the part of pregnant women related to arterial hypertension during pregnancy. Final considerations: Quality, adequate, scientific information shared in accessible language has the potential to qualify diagnoses and treatments, in addition to enabling comfort and reduction of harmful processes related to maternal morbidity and mortality. It is understood the importance of building discussions in academic and care environments on validation, implementation and evaluation of the applicability of technologies that aim at health promotion.
