Abstract

Objective: To report the clinical case of a patient submitted to an autogenous transplant of tooth 28, known as wisdom tooth. Case detail: Male patient, 16 years old, presenting root fracture with total involvement of the furcation, with indication of inheritance of tooth 36 (first lower molar). In this case report, an autotransplant was performed with transfer of element 28 (wisdom tooth) to the alveolar pocket of element 36 (first lower molar). The young individual rehabilitated with a prosthesis has the need to change the prosthesis periodically, as the lack of adaptation resulting from the development of the jaws of the young patient makes its use unfeasible, so autotransplantation is the indicated treatment for cases of generation without replacement. Final considerations: Ensure, through the results obtained, the success of autologous tooth transplantation and the effective treatment of the surgical plan, providing better aesthetics and function, as well as the necessary conditions for maintaining oral health.
